The Jazz Composer’s Workshop Orchestra is a 16-piece ensemble created specifically to perform original jazz arrangements and compositions written by its player-members. The group is comprised of some of the top musicians in the New York metro area, veteran players who have worked with groups such as Toshiko Akiyoshi, Woody Herman, Chuck Mangione, Buddy Rich, Horace Silver, The Tonight Show Band, and The Vanguard Orchestra. Unity, the group’s second CD, is a compilation of work from five different composers.
